I am Rob “Beast” Gaines, Director of AZ ALR Chapter 24 in Tombstone AZ. We are hosting this year’s Western Romp at Post 24 this September 18th- 21st.
We have some badass rides planned, as well as an amazing venue. Being located in Tombstone allows us to be out of “city limits” in 30 seconds for our rides. We’re 30 minutes from sweeping mountain roads in one direction, and wine country 30 minutes the other direction. We’ll have guided rides as well as a bonus ride Sunday morning with the Director to my favorite spot.
In keeping with my promise to do more for the vets in our area, we have brought in veteran and LEO associated organizations to use our hall (DAV, CVMA, Warrior Healing Ctr., ect.). While we have a great venue for events, the additional traffic has beat it up. This year, we are going to use a portion of the proceeds to repair and improve our hall. Thanks in advance for helping us help vets.
My “ask” is for each of you to help me spread the word. We have plenty of accommodations available in the area, including B&Bs. Most hotels will give you a discount for being a veteran. RV space in town is limited and goes pretty fast.
